Why twelve homes, and not forty.
I started NOVA Living in 2016 after ten years of watching good designs go wrong on site. The drawing was right, the client was happy, and then the work passed through four companies who had never met each other. Something always got lost between them.
So we built a studio that does not hand over. An architect, two interior designers, a project lead, a site manager and a workshop, all in one building on the Prinsengracht. The person who draws your kitchen has coffee every morning with the person who will make it.
Twelve homes a year is the number at which that still works. It is the number at which I am still in the room for every one of them, and at which we can promise you a fixed price after design and a finished house in the week we said. I would rather do twelve well than forty nearly.

Forty-five minutes at your home. Fit, ambition, budget, timing.

Plans, materials and light, developed with you over six to ten weeks.

Detail and price
Every element specified. One fixed price, before a wall comes down.

Permits
Municipality, monument status, VvE and neighbours. We handle all of it.

Build
Our own team and workshop. A weekly report, a clean site, no surprises.

Handover
A finished home, a maintenance guide, and one call a year later to check.
